Not every golfer needs a championship test
Sherdons belongs in the regional journey because it serves a different need from Cleeve Hill, Cotswold Hills or Minchinhampton. It is a practical option when the goal is confidence, coaching, practice, family golf or preparing for a more demanding round elsewhere in the trip.
Beginners
Useful when the trip includes someone who is still learning the game or building confidence.
Juniors & families
A stronger fit for accessible participation than the region’s more demanding traditional clubs.
Practice before a round
Works well alongside Tewkesbury Park, Brickhampton Court or a Cheltenham course day.

Brickhampton Court
For more course choice and mixed-group flexibility.
Tewkesbury Park
For an integrated hotel, golf and recovery break.
Cotswold Hills
For the stronger championship-style progression.
9-hole golf, Trackman and practice in one stop
Sherdons is open to the public seven days a week. The current offer combines the 9-hole Manor Course with a 26-bay floodlit Trackman range, indoor Trackman studios and an all-weather short-game practice area. No club membership is required for the pay-and-play course.
Manor Course
Use the 9-hole course for a lower-pressure round, beginner progression or a shorter second session during a Cotswolds trip.
Trackman Range
The range is turn-up-and-play, with Trackman available in the covered bays and current opening seven days a week.
Indoor & short game
Two indoor Trackman studios and an all-weather short-game area support practice when the weather or itinerary makes a full round less practical.
Course status, studio availability, range hours and prices can change. Check current details directly with Sherdons before travelling.
