Current identity

The resort formerly known as PGA Catalunya is now Camiral, A Quinta do Lago Resort Girona. Its Stadium Course was designed by Neil Coles and Ángel Gallardo, opened in 1999 and remains the resort’s longer championship layout.

Current access and maintenance

Checked 19 September 2026: Camiral’s current golf-break information states that the Stadium Course is closed from 27 July to 27 September 2026 for improvement works, with both the Stadium and Tour courses due to be fully open again from October 2026. Reconfirm the reopening status before travel.

Why build a trip around Camiral

The resort offers two golf courses, on-site accommodation, practice facilities and a dedicated Wellness Centre. That allows golfers to combine the Stadium Course with the Tour Course and keep the Stay · Play · Recover elements within one resort base.

Stay: Hotel Camiral and Lavida Hotel provide on-site accommodation.

Play: use the Stadium Course as the main round and the Tour Course as the companion course, subject to current maintenance and tee-time availability.

Recover: Camiral’s Wellness Centre currently offers spa treatments, sports recovery, yoga, Pilates, fitness and technology-led wellness programmes.

Current verification note

The old “#78 in the World” ranking, generic Top 100 imagery and ranking-led framing have been removed. Current access, maintenance, rates and package terms should be checked directly with Camiral.
