Why Play

Terre Blanche is one of continental Europe’s leading golf resorts. Le Château is the more demanding of its two championship courses, offering long views across Provence, beautifully presented fairways and a sequence of holes shaped by lakes, ravines and elevation changes.

Course Character

The course moves through wooded and open terrain, with water used as both a strategic and visual feature. Several tee shots invite aggression, but the best angle into the green is not always found from the longest drive.

Approach play is central to scoring. Raised greens, guarded entrances and changing lies make distance control more important than raw power.

Playing Intelligence

Choose position over length: many holes reward the correct side of the fairway.
Account for elevation: uphill and downhill shots alter effective yardage.
Respect water hazards: conservative targets often protect the scorecard.
Control spin: firm, well-presented greens can release or repel poorly judged approaches.
Plan the round: save energy for the more demanding closing holes.
