Praia D’El Rey
Praia D’El Rey is an 18-hole Cabell B. Robinson design on Portugal’s Silver Coast, mixing pine-lined inland holes with exposed dune-and-ocean golf. It opened on 14 June 1997, plays to par 73 and measures 7,100 yards.

What to expect
Praia D’El Rey changes character during the round. Some holes move through pine forest; others open into the dunes with stronger exposure to Atlantic wind. That variety makes club selection and trajectory control more important than the headline yardage suggests.
The course’s deep bunkering, sloping greens and changing ground conditions reward placement over indiscriminate aggression, especially when the wind turns.

Current resort accommodation information continues to reference access to spa and fitness facilities, alongside pools and beach access. That makes the resort a useful base for a golf-and-recovery itinerary rather than a golf-only overnight stop.
